This is us.
Writing our story, one farm day at a time.
How it started.
It all began with one girl’s dream of having her own dairy cow and one guy’s passion for growing food for others.
The year is 2019.
We had just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary as well as our first born son’s 1st birthday. Just when we thought we were about settled into what we thought was going to be our forever dream home, the
How it’s Going.
Well 5 years and 1 more little man, a dairy cow, 2 bulls, 1 steer, a thousand or so chickens (who’s counting?), 3 llamas, 17 sheep, hundreds of turkeys, sweat and many tears later, we still believe in taking care of one another. And one of the most important ways we can do that is by providing nutritious locally grown food in a sustainable way. That is our mission. We believe nutritious food starts on the farm, beginning with the soil. Our passion is to grow really healthy food by taking care of the animals and the land in harmony together, just like God designed it. From the smallest microbes in the soil, to the chickens, to our family milk cow, everyone plays an important part here on the farm.
The foods we grow here are raised without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. All the animals thrive on healthy pastures, allowing them to be the animals God created them to be. Together, we help steward a balanced rhythm of tilling and fertilizing this land through rotational grazing of the animals. This means all the animals are rotated on the pastures following each other, continually replenishing the land while also providing fresh pasture for the animals. It is this practice that allows us to provide food for our family and your family, for future generations to come.

Lucas
FARMER + FATHER + FIREFIGHTER
Former real estate agent, turned farmer, Lucas has always had a knack for working through challenges big and small for the betterment of those around him. Whether it’s a better way to grow things or how to meet the needs of others more efficiently, he is always up for the challenge. If he’s not running up to greet you with his big smile, he’s probably hustling away in a greenhouse.

Amber
FARMER’S WIFE + ANIMAL WRANGLER + CHILD WRANGLER
My wife Amber, Jane of all trades and master of too many to count! Amber’s professional career and attention to detail began in her work in the private charter world of aviation. Her adventurous spirit of world travel found its way to our farm. Her touches can be seen all around the farm from our logo to the creative parking sighs that greet you when you visit our farm. While all of these things are amazing they pale in comparison to her love and devotion as a wife and mother to our boys. I could go on but there is a proverb that does it even better… “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all."”
